If they accept I have no problem to share the benefit with them . they can get as much as they want from the benefit.
For non profit product again If they accept I can put my game for freeeeee for ever.

I understand your motives, but if you think about, every country in the world has exactly the same problem from coreas, some more then others, I mean, there will be is always people that wants freedom (capitalism), an there is always people that wants the government to be his mother (communism). Its that way in US, its that in my country, and probably everywhere.
So why dont you just build an game talking about the problem ? You could create an generic country for example. There is a lot of movies talking about the issue, and you can put your point of view on it.
About copyright, its interesting, some are easy to have, others impossible, I think in your case its very easy, you just need to get in contact with the right person, I dont think you need to go there thoughtâŚ
The thing is do they want you to represent their intellectual property. Especially if you donât have anything to show them why would they want a random person to do that? Your game could look ugly, pick up their ideas about the story completely wrong and effectively damage the reputation of their content.

Yes you are right. and I never want to destroy their reputation. I will release the game if they 100% agree with my game. If they find that my game is bad so i will never release it.
I dont think so⌠I am just talking about why an country can be divided like in corea, besides international influences, there is always people willing to divide the country because of this level of freedom, I am seeing it in my country ( Brazil ) now, so I am not talking about how much an capitalism in some country is ( true capitalism or false ), but how much freedom from the government an individual want to be. Of course people are normally persuade to go to one direction or another ( right or left ) by politics, but politics are also human and are applied to the same rules.

Iâm 99% sure they will not give you permission. You have no track record to show them and you come across as being very ânaiveâ in business terms. Maybe you are not just a âfanboyâ but thatâs the way you kind of come across. Were I a business I wouldnât even respond.
Say you wrote a successful game with your own story and characters and it pays you a decent living. Now, letâs say some other random person contacts you from their @yahoo e-mail address: âI totally lovez your game, lol. Can I make a game using the same story and characters and art work? I promise I will give you all the credit.â Umm⌠no thanks.
The proper way to use someone elseâs intellectual property is to have your lawyer contact their lawyer about brokering a license to use their property. Anything else is really just going to look like fanboy-ism and likely be ignored⌠until you actually produce something and get a cease and desist letter from their lawyers.
And contrary to some other posts in this thread, whether you make money or not does not change the legality of it. They can still demand successfully that you stop using it. If you make money from it then they can also sue for damages.
The mistaken belief in this thread is that somehow using someone elseâs work is âthanking themâ. Itâs not. Itâs diluting their brand and you will need to pay for it⌠in very specific ways.
Maybe you dont need to pay anything. Sometimes the producer wants to promote his work.
Its hard to tell, it depends on each case, I think in your case you dont need to pay anything and will get the permission.

I hope you understand that you need approval even if your game is free, even if you are planning to mention the autor ect, the point here is that you need approval, not only for this game, but for everything, its not only an question of law, but good sense. For example, someone wants to talk about you in the TV, you will agree to that ? It depends on what they will talk, and if they are going to get money from it, you will agree only if they share a part with you.

By mentioning the author name I meant that at the end of my game when my game finishes I will write this sentence "the story of game is written by "Name Of Korean Writer " .

About that drama story, perhaps you donât need to completely forget about it. How about something like this:
You make a simmilar story that perhaps only takes some ideas from the tv series, but goes its own way and is not an apparent ripoff of it. Even if you went the copyright-infringment way youâd probably have to modify the base thing anyway to make it suit the game form better, or make it playable at all. Basicly make it resemble it but put it in a different setting or something so nobody can ever notice.
That way you can have the tv story in your head and make something that is perhaps even better in its own way. That could be a way to get the âmoral of the storyâ out (since that seems to be the thing you care about the most) without making anyoneâs lawyers go apeshit.
Then again deadmau5 got a cease and desist letter from disney for having his mau5head /allegedly/ look too much like micky mouse. You might want to take this comment with a grain of salt.

According to you, the people who want the government to be their mother desire to live in a communist system. However, the aim of communism consists in creating a classless and stateless society. Marx and Engels (who wrote âthe manifest of the Communist Partyâ) were clear in that the communist goal was a classless society in which the state would have withered away. But yes, I am saying that people that wants the government to be his mother are full or partially communists, I am not saying they are wrong, just they think different. And about the aim of communism, just my opinion, its an lie. The communism is just another way/doctrine to force people to work for you for free. And state capitalism is just an new way to promote communism, it will evolve to full communism eventually the same way socialism do.
