the biped is a visual representation of a skeleton 3dsmax won't automatically treat it as a skinned character…well because it isn't really skinned and since 3ds doesn't support skinning or skeletal animation I think u wont' really get it to work as u expect.


Ok. Now that the biped is ruled out, I'll quickly mention what I actually need and why.

I am basically building a tool for Tennis coaches. I want the coach to edit still 3D frames of a tennis player and then thread those frames into an animation. By this he'll be able to define each stroke precisely he wants to by defining each body part in every frame of a stroke. Now, with all of your experience please guide me as to how can I do it in the shortest manner, and what are the best tools to work with for this.
