3ds model loading half way done wewt!

No official spec + totally strange definition = complex to do right. But static models are in! Yippe. And the loading for animation/cameras/lights is already there, I just gotta interpret it correctly.

Out of curiosity, I ran my sample model on a 3ds loader for cough another java based 3d scenegraph system that said they supported 3ds format :slight_smile: It didn’t look anything like it does in 3ds }:slight_smile: My sample gets it including multiple material states for the same object and correct smoothing groups. If I can get camera support done correctly, I plan to make a hook where someone could tie the jME camera to a camera in 3ds to model really cool looking animation.
