hi all.
my .3ds models are seen always like this. I mean the parts of the models not where exactly it must be.
I wonder if I am the only one who is facing with this problem ?
what is the reason of this and how can I fix ?
thanks.
i can't tell you why this happens, but it happend to a spaceship i tried to load also, but i was able to import the ship in Blender and fix it.
this is not a one-time-occurance my all .3ds models are threat like this. it does not matter if it is from internet or my own model.
:S
any help :S
Try to reset transformations on your objects, in your modeling software (3DSMax ?) or reset your pivots.
not working I tried two way :S (I used 3ds max)
oh, I will be freaking my mind :S so boring
but thanks for your attention.
I think it looks good that way

Twas a joke. But there's a model importer in the user code that works well for me, if you find out it's an import issue and not an export issue.
Try changing the scaleā¦ maybe the parts get bigger but the spacing won't change.
I think it is a converting issue or importing issue, because, I download this model from internet and it is direcly in the format of .3ds.
the model importer. hmmm I have in mind.
