A few questions about particle effects


  1. I tried using ParticleMesh.Type.Point for my particle effect, but I didn’t get it to work. I did setPointSprite(true) on the renderstate of the material. Is there anything else I should do to get it working? The effect works with ParticleMesh.Type.Triangle but I have heard that points are more efficient. :stuck_out_tongue:

  2. How can I make the particles more opaque? In the below image the particles are almost 100% white in the texture, but they seem to be 50% transparent against the background anyway.
