ALPHA map for Terrain created with TerrainEditor

Hi guys,

Is there a way to get the the alpha map (of the texture splats) for terrain I’ve created in the TerrainEditor, I’m sure I’ve seen it explained somewhere but I’m having a hard time finding it/where the image would be stored.


In the Textures folder?

The alpha-blends I’ve found just appear to be black images, I’ve textured the terrains with 3 different textures.

edit: They were created once I created my terrain, is there something I need to do for them to update after I’ve textured the terrain?

they aren’t blank.

The alpha channel is just blank because you didn’t paint anything in the 4th, 8th, or 12th texture. So when you open them in an image editor they are transparent, even through the RGB values are set
