Yes you can.
I used to have Admob for banner and Adbuddiz for interstitial and it worked just fine. Most libraries are not incompatible with one another

Thats very good information , thanks friend for sharing it !
Not a problem.
I suggest you look at the guidelines for ads that Admobās documentation provides so that you have a better idea on where and when to display the ads
Mind to share your game so I can contribute you with some cents and look at your game ?
Ok, to avoid any confusion, lets suppose you have an game that reaches 10000 players in USA, what is an good way to make money with that using Android ? I think it can avoid confusions.
Make it free first, if/when its a hit, put a price on it
check PM
Make a paid version of the game and sell it for $0.99 with some extra features, like it will get updates a bit before the free version and of course no ads
Its possible ? Have anyone did that ? I mean, you make one game free it reaches 10000, then can you change the politics and put an price on it ?
I donāt think itās a good idea.
Itās better to make a separate paid version and add more features that will convince people to switch from the free to the paid besides the removal of ads
Sure its possible. Other apps did that too, like WhatsApp for example. As soon as they had enough weight (i.e. other people nagging their friends to get in) they put a price on the app. Sure itād be somehow ānicerā to add content for a āpaid versionā but honestly, whoās gonna complain? The people who got it for free? The people who bought it because they heard everybody talk about it?
Hi friends
These days games changing to have inside payment (micro-payment) and multi player .you must pay if you want to add new features for your character in game .
like Clash of Clan . It make a huge amount of money . and I think it is not really a big surprise.
and most of us can make better ideas than it .(I have a more better idea for my game than it).
So I think it is possible to make money with android games too. even more than PC.
because the AAA industry completely devour the PC and Consoles.
So smartphones is the best choice for indie games. Am I right ?
Edit : One key point for me that I learned from people of my neighbor city . is that they always sell everything cheaper than in my city so people go there to buy . it is a key feature . be cheaper than others .
Well games like World of Tanks perfected the micro-payment model. Basically you can play the game without paying but from a certain level on its practically (not technically) impossible to go on without paying. I.e. in WOT you have to pay to repair your tank, the bigger the tank the more you pay, so unless you are a really really good player youāll end up with no money to buy the next tank from a certain level on.
I can personally say Iāve made approximately $1,000 in my first year of Android monetization using banner ads only Jmonkeyengine and Admob.
My games are mediocre at best.
So yes.
You can do it. I know you can.
I donāt mean to change the topic, but is an ad library for possibly mobile or desktop that targets in-game world advertising (i.e. a billboard displaying an ad, which could be seen by players as they race by)?
Thats good, mind to share some info ?
Like, how many players install your app ? What was the earn percent of interstatial x banners x installations ?
Mind to share your game so we can contribute you and look at it ?
Thats is something to think about for the future, I mean, there is not much mmo games out there for android yet, also must of us ( at least me ) are a bit far of making an mmo, it needs serous investments and its something more professional and focused.
I donāt think there is but it can be made. However, Some platforms do not allow āunofficialā advestisement. So a deeper research is needed.
If allowed you could make your own by creating a Downloader that will get images from a link and then convert the image byte data unto a 3D texture to be used on in game billboards or something
Possible new ad platform? I think this might be a good money maker
Sure it is ! You would need to be an publicity specialist or to have someone that is in your team toughā¦
ā¦my understanding of gamers on mobiles (large majority, there are exceptions simply because, well, we all use phones), is that, this group of people was always around, its just that they have not been exposed to gaming community before due lack of interest for itā¦basically they are non gamers Its same group of people, always asking me, why i pay for this or that gameā¦so, once smart phones are introduced, all of that, mentioned non gaming population is exposed to game developers, and basically, what you dealing with is population which never played games and never really wanted to pay for any, hence, 0.99 cents is already headache for such folks, which is why hype free free free, got its momentumā¦and my professional experience taught me that, if you want to see some money out of your game development, there is a way called desktops (and consoles as well, but lets say, that is unreachable for most)ā¦people who pays for games, in large majority plays on desktops and consolesā¦
