Anyone use Eclipse 3.0?

Just a General Question really. That is my current java editor that I have used for web projects and I want to know if it would make a good one for 3d projects.

Would MyEclipse be beneficial to the developement of 3d apps?

MyEclipse (myeclipseide.com) is a plugin for Eclipse. It adds a number of nice features for web development, but nothing that is helpful to 3D. Standard Eclipse (eclipse.org) works just as well. Use the Java perspective instead of the MyEclipse perspective.



I use Eclipse 3.0 with MyEclipse at work for web development. At home, I use Eclipse 3.1 to get java 5.0 support. No need for MyEclipse at home.

I think all the extra plugins for J2EE development work might slow down Eclipse.
