AssetNotFoundException: models/box.material

Well why I understand where any why that exception is coming from, I have a problem understanding why we are forced to have a .material file in alpha4. I never used one for my models since I only want the mesh of it and load a jme Material over it anyway.

Using the nigthly 20.3.2011, as svn is currently not working for me. So do I now must have a .material file even if I see no sense in it ?

No, this is nightly builds after alpha4 was released, so if you’re using nightly builds this change might go in tomorrow or it might have already happened.
