I want to create a serious game first-personal-shooter-like with jME using shadows.
The problem is that when the camera is inside a shadow volume, the shadow disappears.
In the future do you implement a greater z-shadow pass like the Carmack’s Reverse ? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stencil_shadow_volumes)
We currently use a zpass implementation with plans to extend that to include zfail when you are inside a shadow volume. Not sure when that additional coding will take place though… probably whenever one of us needs it for something s/he is working on.
