Best way for triggering events


i want that when the player runs over a certain place, an event is triggered.
Example: My character runs behind a wall and the camera position is changed.

I created a simple box with physic shape overlay and alpha material to detect collisions with my character.

Is there a better way to solve that ?

You could just monitor the player’s position, check it each frame…

It depends how many of these places you have and how many things are potentially entering them. There are lots of ways to handle it.
