Black BitmapText?

I have a BitmapText object in 3d space. If I set it’s color to white, it works perfectly, but if I make it black (which is what I want) it seems like it’s totally transparent / invisible. ColorRGBA.Black and ColorRGBA.BlackNoAlpha make no difference.



I’d be happy to post a code example if that helps, but thought I’d just the question first in case there’s something obvious I’m missing. Any ideas?
