I feel overwhelmed by all the terms used in 3D-programming/OpenGL and would like to know if you could recommend some books on the subject?



Although I’m sure they exist, I don’t personally know of any books.

However, we started a ‘tems list’ a few months ago that might help a little. If you can think of something that should be added, by all means, feel free to do so…


By far the best OpenGL book is the Red Book:

This will be everything you need for OpenGL.

Yes, I’ve seen that list… Well today, I came over two terms that aren’t covered in the wiki: blending and shaders… I guess a bit of googling would solve this but I come over stuff like this all the time, so it would be nice to have a nice and steady book to rely on :).
