There's a lot of good stuff in this bug, but I'm not sure I agree that degenerate primitives should be excluded from the stats… they are still causing overhead regardless. Also, testing for degenerates is a performance impact that I would not agree is worthwhile. Thoughts?

yes, detecting degenerated triangles may be useful for debugging meshes, but as Renanse I don't think it belongs to statistics
