Bullet only for 2D physics

how do i set the physics engine only for 2D?

You could remove the unwanted movement in the z plane from the physics nodes each tick. As for setting bullet to 2d physics with the flip of a switch, its not possible atm: http://hub.jmonkeyengine.org/groups/development-discussion-jme3/forum/topic/bullet-limit-movement-and-object-wise-gravity/
