Hello
I am unable to save a scene I have created in the SceneComposer.
When I press Ctrl+S, the system tells me I have saved the scene, but when I convert it back into a j3o file, it doesn’t save what I have done.
What should I do ?
Mathias
What do you mean “convert it back”? You can only edit j3o files.
I didn’t know that. Anyway, when I edit a scene (using “Edit in Scene Composer” on the .j3o file and adding light and a model to it, for example) I can’t save it.
As in the save button doesn’t light up? I can’t reproduce that.
Indeed, the save button isn’t lit up after I have pressed save… but the file isn’t save. The modified date in the file property also indicates the file hasn’t been saved. Here is my set up:
Product Version: jMonkeyEngine SDK 3.0RC2
Java: 1.6.0_37; Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM 20.12-b01
System: Windows 7 version 6.1 running on amd64; Cp1252; fr_FR (jmonkeyplatform)
Do you get a warning sign in the lower right at some point? When I open an empty scene and add anything I can save it and then reopen it.
My mistake, I was loading the .scene in my program instead of the .j3o, that’s why I could not see the updates.
Many thanks for your help.
