Thanks all  :)  Her name is Adriana Rose Slack.  She'll be coming home from the hospital tomorrow hopefully.  A pic will be up on my blog shortly.

Congratz..  ours is now 1 year old... and watching him grow has been wonderful.  Watch for the 3 month mark.. that was a fun few weeks as he began to interact more and more...

I've got a spot picked out for her computer, but she's having a hard time choosing the OS.  I think she's leaning towards OSX at the moment.  if she's anything like her brother, she'll be playing games on the computer when she is supposed to be sleeping within a year or so…

The reason I'll never buy a Mac is because they are far too proprietary.  My primary reason used to be that they sucked, but now I can't claim that to such a level anymore. :o



I like to be able to shop around for parts for my computer and see competition in the market.  With Apple components you pretty much are stuck with buying direct from the beast.

Maybe not entirely, but I'll accept responsibility for my contribution to the decay of the thread.....I think I've got a problem.
