Creating a project in jMonkeyPlatform

I am new to jMonkey. I am trying to create a project in the jMonkeyPlatform and after I create it doesnt open it. If I try to open it manually it says <unrecognized project; missing plug-in?>

Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thank you.

Make sure you have a proper JDK (1.6) installed.

Im pretty sure I do. How can i check? I cant think of it.

Check the “About…” screen of the application.

Neer heard of this with a fresh install

i uninstalled and reinstalled it and its working now. no idea what was wrong.
