Directional Light Shadow Render issue on Mac

I am transitioning from PSSM to Directional Light Shadow Renderer.

I am having issues on mac where any object with a material that has an AlphaDiscardThreshold does not receive a shadow. This issue is on Mac only, it is working on Windows.

I have uploaded a sample project to be tested with. Again this is only on mac.
