Error in application

Hi there, the test chooser is crashing and showing this:

“UnsupportedOperationException:GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWGL renderer!”

It happens any time I try to use the Test Chooser.

My system specs:

-Windows XP Professional-32bit
-VIA/S3G UniChrome Pro IGP (64M)
-Python 2.5 (I guess)
-DirectX 9.0c

I searched this issue here around the sites but couldn’t find anything.

What exactly is unclear about the message?

Well, I start the TestChooser.exe, choose any of the tests it comes with, a screen pops-up with the monkey logo, asking me for settings like Vsync, resolution, etc, ok to these settings, then a brief blackscreen and the messasge: “UnsupportedOperationException:GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWGL renderer!” pops-up.

This is why I can’t use Test Chooser

My question is what is unclear about “GLSL and OpenGL2 is required for the LWGL renderer!”? That old S3 card simply doesn’t support it.

Oh I get it.

Is that an virtual machine? Cause real S3 are kinda uncommon today.

No, it’s not a virtual machine, and no, S3 cards are common here in my country.

If it supports OpenGL1 you can use the OpenGL 1 renderer but you won’t get many of the graphics features.

thanks @normen, but how do I switch to OpenGL1?

@pspeed So should I use jME2?
