Exception on assigning a Texture2D MatParam to a sampler2D input

Whenever I try to assign a Texture2D MatParam to a sampler2D input of a Vertex Shader Node, the SDK pops up error message. Also, my SDK is up to date. Any hints? Print Screen:

Hmm, A think it’s because we can’t use texture inputs with a vertex shader, but with a fragment shader instead (new to shader programming :P), so it’s ok.

In plain glsl, you should be able to use textures in a .vert shader. At least, I’m sure I have before.

It is guaranteed possible to use textures in the vert shader.
