I have problems installing on Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Intel).

Description:
The installer starts but in the middle of the installation it failes and refer to the log file.

easy fix. Get a PC 
Hehe, shall we count the number of posts with messed up JDK installs on windows? 
Apple-typical you just have to ask for the OS and/or hardware version and you pull up the fix or incompatibility from a list
