I have notated that many game engines post a new releases in GameDev.net’s news site. If you could get Gamedev.net to post JME’s release it may get more people to use jme.

It’s one of the first things someone searching for a 3d-engine is going to check.

I just checked that page, it hasn’t been updated since 2000. Is it still maintained?

Probably the only way to find out is to submit an addition.
