Ggj'10 - Carl Cube and Bobby Ball

Hola,…I participated at last week's global game jam in cologne and somehow I

could convince the people to take the jMonkeyEngine. A decision which had the result

that I didn't sleep very much as I had to explain my co-coder the whole framework. Good luck he was

very skilled (from XNA). The game is a two-player (at one computer) game. jME actually didn't had too much

hard work to do as it is quite simple in graphics.

It is still not as stable as it could be. I just added something like gamepad-calibration/setup (which is also a bit buggy if you suck after the first time! :D)

We will redo the work later as the code is declared to offend against the "Geneva Conventions".

Nevertheless have a look if you want to:

PS: If someone of you have a gamepad it would be great if you could plug it in before starting and then in menu at the controller-entries hit "return" in order to see if it is  recognized. This part is still very unstable. If it is not working plz tell me OS and Gamepad. (and if it's working a note would be appreciated, too)

PS: Hehe,…somehow even the jMonkeyEngine got 2 seconds of the cologne's ggj-podcast:

lol

Well, the lack of sleep had as result that the easiest algorithms got solved in the most complicated ways

We had cases where people that looked in the code showed the same symptoms as ebola infected people in the end stage afterwards. So our code is biohazard-proofed now!

ah, I thought your code raped captured women. Was wandering how you wrote such an evil and powerfull code.
