I need to write 3d-application and have started looking into different engines. I’ve chosen jME and am excited about it.
So, I thought it might be of interest for you to note that the Google Summer of Code 2007 program is starting.

Last year OGRE, Crystal Space, Blender and about hundred of other FLOSS organizations participated.
The applications of mentoring organizations start being accepted in the beginning of March.
I think it will give jME not only new contributors, but also a greater exposure.
