Haywire on Fuel Station Zeta Closed Beta!

Ok, JME community. It’s time for me to start a closed beta on my game and I am currently taking applications. Any insights to running a beta with JME would be greatly welcome!

Also, I plan to give the full, finished version to everyone that actually participates (meaning, gives useful feedback). As well as my sincere appreciation and thanks.

I was going to sign up for the closed beta but then I saw you posted the link to the demo so I just got that one :wink:

I know its Windows only but I was able to run it on Linux via “java -jar Haywire.exe” since its just a JAR tacked onto an EXE file. It works great on my NVIDIA card but its quite glitchy / slow on my Intel card. I recommend putting an option to turn off SSAO in the options in addition to shadow effects so that those lower-end cards can run it.

So far its quite enjoyable. Good job!

The demo is old …and is not the same as the beta build. Please sign up and help.

Thanks for giving it a try, and yes, I may be adding an option to remove the ssao. There is already an option to turn off shadows in the beta.
