Hearts as displayed health?

Hey everyone! I really like the idea of having hearts be the displayed health, similar to a Legend of Zelda game. I COULD code for ten separate hearts and ten separate locations and give ten separate if statements to each about when and when not to show up according to the character’s health, but that seems like it’s over-complicated.

Does anyone have a more simplistic idea about how to do this?
