nope, I havent changed anything at all in the HelloJMEDesktop. it is a very strange problem, im running excatly what you put into the CVS just recently.

probably if it's a mac (JMEDesktop still seems to behave strange there) - but you said TestJMEDesktop works fine, so I don't think so. Please post details about os (lin/win/mac) and exact jdk version. I can try to reproduce it here then.
