How to abort a jump using CharacterControl


I’m having problems with CharacterControl in my FPS game. When my player hits the ceiling during a jump (using the jump() in CharacterControl), it doesn’t start to fall instantly but instead it sticks to the object. So the jump isn’t aborted, but lasts as long as it would have normally, without the collision. I didn’t find a way to stop the jump manually or apply some force.

Is it possible to avoid this behaviour using CharacterControl?
