Human 3D-Models?

Hi,

I'm still working on my game and right now i'm just using a cone as a body and a sphere as a head for my persons in the game, but i would like to replace them by real 3D-Models.



But where do i get the models from? I think the easiest way would be, if i would have a 3d-model and i could just change the color of the cloth for each person.

The Persons should be for a hospital.



So, do you have a site where i can find some models?

Specifically for human modeling, there's this tool:

Though from the look of it you may have to put some work into getting the model animated or textured, I am not sure…

This is another really good idea, and one that I've given thought but not voice to.  We may also want to consider opening a Modeling forum here to specifically discuss models and modelling issues and techniques (for jME users) and maybe put together a model repository for test/development work so that we have an open source one-stop-shop for all sorts of different test models.  Beyond this we may also want to try to spark some interest in modeling communities (and our Projects forum specifically) so as to possibly draw in some artists/modelers to jME who might want to do some work for what's going on here. 



Since I use ms3d and belong to those forums, I'll drop a line out there and see if it kicks up any dust…

You migt also want to check this out if what’s most important to you is simply having a proper human model to do some cool testing with.
