Importing Assets on netbeans

Hi there. Im migrating my project to netbeans, but textureManager cant find my textures. Ive created the assets folder in my netbeans project directory and put my textures in there just like they were on my jmonkey project.

Texture tex = assetManager.loadTexture(“Textures/hud.png”);

Is there something i am doing wrong ? Thanx alot for any attention !

why u using netbeans? use jMP it’s the same but better

I don’t understand this.

jMP is built upon Netbeans. It’s the same thing. Why switch to generic netbeans? You’ll lose a lot of jMP’s features.

@wezrule: jMP is netbeans too, just extended version :stuck_out_tongue:

Ziden i see you will create 999 topics with problems… just seek an answer, becouse this froum already have answers in older topics.

and tutorials too

edit: ohhh i was to slow, madjack is ultra fast

The manual describes what is special about the assets and the project, how they get prepared in the deployment etc. But I agree, whats the point in using NetBeans?

i can code hiden in my work , cause we all use netbeans… processes are monitored LOL

Might be simpler to rename jmonkeengine.exe to netbeans.exe no?

if your at work, probably best to do your work :stuck_out_tongue:

Where's the fun in that?

.. well if they really just monitor the exe name then you don't need to be afraid anyway but I doubt that ;)

Also consider that quite apart from any moral issue anything you code on your works time on their equipment legally belongs to them…so not only do you get fired but they take your game too

they monitor processes and programs being run. When i try to run JDK i get a message

naaah i wont get fired  i do my work pretty well and fast, so i have too much extra time, i just cant have an authorization. I dont know how they really validate processes, that was my guess.

But ive got it, thanks for the help ! Love coding games during the week ! well, who doesnt ?

Thanks for the attention !
