In SVN code , Where did the TimelineEditor go?

I remembered I see it in the past , in this post …

But Where is it (TimelineEditor) now in SVN Code. I really want to check some exist code before implement my own please…

Its gone. Tomas doesn’t work on it anymore and the cinematics editor has been started from scratch.

Oh , what a pity … But I might ask that can we use the old source (if you guys still have it ) …

I’m planning to make a timeline Editor but the UI part is from another opensource Timeline library called “Jaret Timeline” - which it good and bad at the sametime …

jaret timebars - jaret timebars (gantt chart and timeline widget/control for SWT and Swing)

I really want a small working solution before diving into the hard choice.

Its in the svn history now, check the history of the cinematics plugin, should be only a few revisions back from the last commit there.

So , it really gone , didn’t it ! T_T

So let’s see what I could do with the new one…

No its not gone, its in the svn history… You can simply revert the plugin to an earlier version to see the code and copy it in case you want to use it. But I guess getting into the code takes about as long as rewriting it, so…

smile … :o

Oh , yes . Found it ! However, I will take a look at the code before making the final decision Sir…

Thank a lot !

P/s: Can I ask for the reason why this plugin is discontinued … Just because the author TommyGun abandon it or other technical reason …?

If it is possible , I want to continue develop it cause the tool is going to serve my work , too …

It was discontinued merely because the developer stopped working on it, yes. If you’d like to continue working on it you are of course free to do so.
