Thanks to cep21, there is now a tutorial on the site on how to set up IntelliJ for the jME project.
Eric, I’ll get your eclipse tutorial on it’s own page soon… I promise. 
No rush! Given that "Check out as…" now functions correctly - at least of Eclipse 3.0M - I should mention that possibility.
