Intellij Integration

When you open the intellij-integration project in intellij-idea, in the gradle tab to the right are the tasks you can run. The one I highlighted will run a fresh instance of intellij with the plugin built from the sources. You are basically “running” the plugin now, so you can debug it as normal.

These tasks are auto-generated by the org.jetbrains.intellij plugin included in the build.gradle file.

The nightly repo gives me “No plugins found, please check the log file for possible errors.” Currently the versions in intellij and in the nightly repo are probably the same, but I’m not sure whether that could be the cause of this error.

Solved on discord, but the issue was @grizeldi using intellij 2019.2 and the plugin is only compatible with 2019.3

Is the plugin still alive somewhere else? Or is it abandoned? Is the code open source? Repo is also not found on github.

I checked stephengold (Stephen Gold) · GitHub, he I think saved most of the Jayfella’s repos but I did not see this one. Maybe gone forever. Or accessible by wayback machine?

But I’d say it was not develop much further than what was discussed here last.

For context Jayfella deleted all their repos. There was an effort to collect the ones people had forks of

Jayfella’s drama caught me by surprise, and at the time I hadn’t cloned any of his repos. Even my jme-vehicles fork is based on a clone by Ali-RS. Perhaps you’re confusing me with Paul.

I didn’t grab any of his repos… but just made the post suggesting that we might want to collect the forks.

Thanks for the info for everyone. Gonna check it out. May I ask: did jayfella got into drama because of the repos?

No. The “drama”, such as it was, was unrelated to the repos. They were just collateral damage.
