Is there a way to control the rotation speed of lookAt() method?

it seems the lookAt() method rotates my player model a little bit too fast.

so is there a way to decrease the speed of rotation?

Im after a similar affect. But not just decrease the speed, but allow you to specify the interpolation amount.
