Java VM crashes

just checking: your program was running before on another machine and now id doesn't run anymore?

usually the VM doesn't chrash that easy. you would have to do some bad buffer mojo in order to achieve that.

When even the jME Webstart demos crash that way, make sure to update your display drivers and your jdk.

Java is a 1.6 and works fine for everything else, and the drivers are auto-updated by ASUS (I guess I can't get other ones for that funny graphics chip). It's not so important for me, I just wanted to test on a second machine (I've still this problem where it looks like I can't turn off texture compression)
