JME 3.1 Ubuntu 14.04 lts install instruction?

Hey guys,

how can i install jmonkey engine 3.1 to ubuntu 14.04 lts?
any 3.1 instruction do u know?

Just run the script and follow the instruction in case you took the SDK variant.

Engine or SDK?
For the sdk:

  1. download the installer from here https://github.com/jMonkeyEngine/sdk/releases/download/3.1-beta1-SNAPSHOT/jmonkeyplatform-linux-x64.sh
  2. chmod +x
  3. run

And you will get a netbeans installation fully configured to work with jme + many fancy tools

If you want the engine alone you can configure your ide to grab the libraries from maven central or copy them manually from the sdk directory.
