Same error on diferent pc. tested for diferent folder location also.

I have no ideas about why SS Editor doesn’t have permissions to write files on your machines… :frowning: I will prepare a special build with additional logging to understand what happens

If you’re on linux, have you tried with sudo?

He has windows machines if you look at stacktrace

Then no idea.

Yes windows 7 64bits. My windows’ user has administrator’s permissions

Doest it happen only in the GLSL editor on save?

Also, did you edit the file D:\Blender\Assets\GSLS\test2.frag in other editor at the same time when you try to save it from SS Editor?

No. All modification are from SS Editor. Basically:
Open new asset folder
Create matdef
create mat
edit .frag file.
Save .frag file

Ok, just updated to 1.0.1. Now when I click open asset folder, the selector windows pops up, but is completely white and after that the editor hangs. After a while the “Sorry, Ubuntu 17.04 has experienced internal error” windows pops up. Not really usable atm.

Yes, so far I know

yes, it’s a problem with native folder chooser on linux(JavaFX uses gtk2 back-end, it’s terrible). In the current develop version(which I was posted several posts above) I have added the setting to Setting Dialog to disable using native folder choosers. Can you check it, please?

I think you build a linux package instead of windows. I see a jme3-spaceshift-editor-1.1.0.deb file inside.
