Jmonkey doesn't work

I have win7 32 bit installed.

I have installed the following:

JDK dev kit 6update24

And java 6 update 24

I also have the latest version of Jmonkey SDK installed.

My problem is that jmonkey doesn’t start… Yep all it does is open in task manager for a few seconds then close.

Am i doing anything wrong?

Best Regards

Oh and also i have tried with Jdk versions 7 and 6 update 29 both with the same results.

And my graphics card IS definitely capable of running opengl 1 2 and 3

in windows 7, you may need to right click and “run as administrator” or change the permissions for the jMonkeyPlatform.exe

just a guess.

I tried it with the same result :(

But, did it installed??

If not jMP you had downloaded was corrupted.

It did install...
And i dont think it was corrupted

It still doesn’t work :frowning:

Anyone?

What’s happening?

Well when i double click the app. It loads the process for about 2 seconds. Then it closes. It doesn’t even open the loading screen.

Ok, we need to know what’s causing that, do you aggre? Run it by command line and give us the output error.

Ok

C:Program Filesjmonkeyplatformbin>jmonkeyplatform.exe

C:Program Filesjmonkeyplatformbin>

The launcher has determined that the parent process has a console and will reuse

it for its own console output. Closing the console will result in termination o

f the running program.

Use ‘–console suppress’ to suppress console output.

Use ‘–console new’ to create a separate console window.

Your user directory (C:Program Filesjmonkeyplatform) cannot reside inside your

NetBeans installation directory (C:Program Filesjmonkeyplatform).

That looked important. What does it mean?

It said that

Some applications in your system hinders jMP to load.

First thing you can do is try to install it to another computer so you can observe if the problem is in the computer

you have installing for.

-.-

I’ve done that on my laptop. It works fine

I’m not sure if jmp is run by just typing C:Program Filesjmonkeyplatformbin>jmonkeyplatform.exe

go to jmonkeyplatform.exe

>propeties and see what's the command it's run and run it by CMD again.

Um I can’t find the command…

If I was using windows right now I would tell you -.- . But I remind I’m always able to check it. right click jmonkeyplataform.exe

>properties.

I do that but where do i go then??
