Just use a specified area of an image for a texture


Is there a chance to create multiple textures out of one image by specifying an area of the image for each texture.

So the real problem is: How to tell jme to just take a certain area of the image to the texture

When you uv map the model, you're telling the engine which part(s) of the image to use.

Additionally, there are scale and translation methods on the Texture class.
