Keyframe animation trouble

hi community,

a new problem arised.

i have a model which consists of 2 parts. the character itself and its weapon. both have the same animations and fit together if i simply add them to a single node. the problem now is, i want to spam lots and lots of this evil guy without cloning all the data, and i want one keyframecontroller to control the animations of both children.

is this possible? if yes, how?

nobody ever had that problem?
