Lighting crashes jme with nightly builds

I think there are definitely some compatibility issues with lower end hardware… my integrated intel graphics has lots of weirdness, and its a 2011 model. Some cards just plain suck, but that’s not to say there shouldn’t be fallbacks for them. I’d like to see more support for low end / older hardware in the engine in time.



I agree with what people have said here though, the main effort for the moment needs to be on getting the engine features in and having a solid JME3 to work with. It’s more important to have a modern, powerful graphics engine with great tools. Plus, the developers probably don’t have crappy graphics cards around to test on, so it’s very hard to fix something you can’t see :wink:
