Turned my laptop into a Linux machine, and am pleased to note that jME runs just fine in it, and I’m able to develop in Eclipse 3M8 just the same as in Windows. Now we just need to get a Mac OS X machine… 
How do you like the speed of Eclipse? I’m also thinking of switching to Linux, but SWT-GTK seems somewhat sluggish and the Motif version just looks plain awful. Really a shame that Qt has licencing problems.
I tried Eclipse in Linux about 1 1/2 years ago, and it was horribly slow. In fact, pretty unusablle. I installed 3M8 and it runs just as fast as the windows version. (GTK version).
Wow. One more reason for me to switch, then.
