LOD and jME3

Okay, this is how it normally works:

Step 0) Copy model to assets folder
Step 1) Invoke advanced converter

Step 2) Set settings of converter

Step 3) Open model, turn on light, behold

The “distance” (whatever that means for a model that is not in any scene) is not needed as you only need a percentage and the levels, the rest is handled via the LodControl in jme.

If you have problems with this the problem is most probably in the model. Read the model import guides for blender and max again and again to find out what you do differently:

Right. I’ve made the same operation as you, with the same result. It works !
So you must be right. It must be the model.

Do you know what parameters we have to enter in blender2ogre exporter for this to work ? Visibly, default ones are not good enough…
