Materials from Blender


I’m new with JMonkeyEngine and with Blender too.
I’m using Eclipse to write the code and I found that easiest way to use my own meshes is to load the whole .blender file.
I have problem with materials, every mesh is metallic shining. I need to get rid of that shining effect.

I’m following the guides (using UV textures etc), but I don’t know what to do (in blender) to have my surfaces looks like grass or terrain. I found that ‘Diffuse’, ‘Specular’ and ‘Shading’ settings in Blender does not have any effect (as mentioned somewhere in tutorials).
