Mesh disappears when first vertex is off-screen

I’m using a mesh as a sort of ticker tape that continues to grow as new data is added. However, I’ve found that the entire mesh disappears when the first corner leaves the screen. Obviously, I don’t want this to happen. How can I prevent it?

Make sure to recompute the bounding volume when you change the mesh: Mesh.updateBound()
