Model material looks wierd

Hey there. I have ran into a bit of a pickle and even though Ive read almost all the topics in this part of the forum, I can’t really find an answer.
The problem is this:

  • Modeled something in 3DS Max, exported it with MaxOgre.
  • I’ve imported the model in the engine, went in scene editor and created a new j3m material…
  • BUT the model looks like this:

Any idea why this happens? O.o

What parameter did you set in the j3m file?
What does the model looks like in max?

Hey, thank you for taking the time, but I just found out what was wrong. The material was correctly made, but the ambient light was way too strong.
