Model not showing

Heyho,
i just started with jmonkey and i have a few problems right now. i try to import a model which i created in minecraft. i used a tool to convert a piece of my mc world into 3dsmax and with ogremax i converted it like the tutorial says. now im using this code to load it:
[java]public void simpleInitApp() {
Spatial geom = assetManager.loadModel(“Models/mc/mc.scene”);
Material mat = new Material(assetManager,
“Common/MatDefs/Misc/Unshaded.j3md”); // create a simple material
mat.setColor(“Color”, ColorRGBA.Blue); // set color of material to blue
geom.setMaterial(mat); // set the cube’s material
rootNode.attachChild(geom); // make the cube appear in the scene
DirectionalLight sun = new DirectionalLight();
sun.setDirection(new Vector3f(-0.1f, -0.7f, -1.0f).normalizeLocal());
rootNode.addLight(sun);
}[/java]
Its the code from the beginner tutorial, i replaced the box with the model.
Now the problem: the screen just stays black, i simply cannot see the model.
I also tried to import it with the SDK’s Importer but again, in the preview, i see absolutely nothing.
I also tried to create a simple cylinder in 3dsmax, like in the tutorial here, but without the animation, and again i see nothing.
what am i doing wrong?
greetings,nico.

It could be anything really: Scale, position, vertices…

…all we can say is that something has gone wrong (or at least not as expected) in the import process.

Try importing the model into blender and see what it looks like there…

The only thing i can inport into blender is the .obj file. Well i dont really know anything about blender but i dont see there anything either. i only see a very very small piece of object but im unable to scale it. however, the same file works with 3dsmax and i see my model with textures.

If both blender and jme3 are unable to import it then that implies that something is wrong with the file - so I’d look into your export process first off.

Hm well, maybe someone can test it with your blender?
This is how it looks in 3dsmax when i import the .obj file:

Here is the .zip file with model and textures:
