Models for FPS (Animated)?

Where could I get some good (or 1 good, I really only need 1) first person shooter model that is animated? I need a model to put into my physics FPS game. Willing to pay, if it’s fairly priced (like up to 20 dollars MAXIMUM).

Noticed this site has several models (among other useless crap) but are they like animated 3ds models or are they going to be in some ridiculous format you can only use with FPS Creator (I understand that many of you will not know this, but if you’ve used it before, please let me know!)

Maybe you find some models here: http://www.cubeengine.com/

Can those be used in commercial games?

Maybe http://polycount.com/models/quake2/? I have not used those models but looks like there should be something in there.

Also I have found that it can be very hard to find free models that are good quality, textured and animated.

It’s not so hard to find free models, and free animations seperately though. So if you’re prepared to do a bit of work matching them up, then assigning vertices to bones that can be one way forward.

Regarding the Sauerbraten models–I can't seem to get them to run their animation ranges.

There's no info on that–do you know who I could ask about getting their animations to run?

You'll have to read the included license file in each model you download, I don't think polycount or most other 3d resources sites enforce any kind of license on their content.
