I feel like I'm caught up in some crop circle hoax. It just won't work, and I feel like the joke's on me. Is there a trick to setting it up? I hear all this talk about Eclipse, I've been programming in Java for over 4 years now, and all I use is a syntax-highlighting plain-text editor and javac.exe. I'm not a big fan of fancy IDEs so I've never used Eclipse before. Do I need to do something with Eclipse? I haven't the slightest clue how the thing works but I've never encountered a Java project that required an independent IDE to run.
Is there a hidden place where running MW3D is explained somewhere? It looks amazing and I really want to give it a go but I can't for the life of me get it to work. I've tried a few different versions. On v4.0, I click File > New and nothing happens. On v4.1 I click File > New and I get a list of wizards, but when I choose a wizard, it won't let me progress. I feel like this should be a simple double-click-the-.exe process, but it's not for me.
I've looked everywhere I could think to look. Can anyone tell me, in plain English, how I can get MW3D to load up and let me play with 3D objects?
Your time is much appreciated,
Matt.
Maybe this post http://mw3d.org/forum/index.php?topic=103.msg464#msg464 sheds some light on it.
